Food and Drink

Camping Ticket holders can bring a reasonable amount of food and drink for personal consumption into the campsite only (e.g. to 1 case of 18 beer/lager/cider up to 1lt of spirits or 3 bottles of wine). You must bring your own food and alcohol in on initial entry (once you have been wristbanded you will not be able to bring in any food or drink). We will ask you to leave excess quantities outside the event. You will not be allowed to bring in glass bottles of any kind.

No food or drink can be taken into the main festival arena. However, we do allow sealed bottles of water up to 750 ml, and empty unsealed bottles can be brought in to be refilled at water points.

No glass is allowed anywhere on site, including in campervans or caravans. Please decant into plastic containers before you leave home.

The legal age to bring alcohol into the festival is 18+. There is an ID check on entry and any alcohol will be taken off you if you are found to be underage.

For customers with specific dietary requirements we don’t cater for, we do allow a reasonable amount of food to be brought into the festival arena for personal consumption. This must be confirmed with us in advance of the festival, by writing to us at info@kitefestival.co.uk.

Bags

Please pack light. To maximise the safety of everyone attending KITE, all customers may be subject to a thorough security check when they arrive. Please be patient if there are queues and familiarise yourself with the below prohibited items before you arrive to avoid unnecessary delays at the security checks.

We recommend you do not bring any unnecessary valuables. Unfortunately, festival campsites can attract opportunistic thieves. Keep valuables safe and away from the door of your tent.
