Jordan Stephens
A writer and performer, and one half of the chart-topping duo Rizzle Kicks. Having been publicly open with his own struggles surrounding mental health, Jordan has been active in creating awareness around the stigma. His mental health campaign #IAMWHOLE reached over 120 million people online and was mentioned in the Houses of Parliament. His children’s book The Missing Piece was shortlisted for the 2023 Waterstone’s Children’s Book Prize. His first non-fiction title, Avoidance, Drugs, Heartbreak & Dogs, has just been published by Canongate Books.
Stephen Manderson AKA Professor Green
A musician, documentary maker, and entrepreneur. He became a prolific voice in the mental health conversation when he released the documentary Suicide and Me in 2015. Growing up on a council estate in Clapton, east London, Green went on to become a multi-platinum artist, with 3.5 million combined sales in the UK. He is the former co-host of Lip Sync Battle UK on Channel 5, his autobiography featured on the Times bestseller list, and he is a supporter of the suicide prevention charity CALM.
Hussain Manawer
A globally acclaimed Poet, Mental Health Advocate and Producer hailing from London’s East End. Tagged ‘The Original Mummy’s Boy’, Hussain derives much of his inspiration from his own experiences and intense grief at the sudden loss of his mother. His debut collection, Sunday Times Bestseller “Life Is Sad And Beautiful,” made Hussain the first British Pakistani Poet to publish a Sunday Times Bestseller and his work has been included in the UK’s Key Stage 3 and 4 National Curriculum, cementing its impact and educational significance. He appeared alongside Prince Harry and Oprah Winfrey in the mental health docu-series, ‘The Me You Can’t See’, alongside Lady Gaga, Glen Close and others. Manawer was called upon by The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge to create the ‘Mental Health Minute’ which was broadcast across UK radio with a line-up including David Beckham, Joanna Lumley, Shirley Bassey, Jessie Lingard, Jamie Oliver, Anne Marie and Charles Dance.
