Ellie Bleach narrates a world of peculiar characters.
With a penchant for cinematic storytelling, her lyrical style harbours a biting cynicism that examines the strange eccentricities of modern life. Raised in the seaside commuter town of Southend, UK, Ellie was taught piano by a pet healer at an early age. Crafting an indie-meets-baroque pop sound, her theatrical narratives draw from a rotating cast of lonely misunderstood people that exist within suburbia. Performing live with her magnificent travelling band, Ellie’s shared stages with the likes of The Last Dinner Party, Jessica Winter, and Black Country, New Road, performed at SXSW, TGE, Wilderness Festival, & Belgium’s Sonic City, and played packed out shows from London’s Moth Club to Glasgow’s King Tuts.
