Having set a towering bar for synth-pop in the 21st century, Alison Goldfrapp– the magnetic British songwriter, vocalist, performer and producer – is recognised for approaching each iteration of her stellar career from an innovative new position.
Her seven albums with Goldfrapp were fuelled by an unfailing modernity and a sixth sense for sounds that were more timeless than any trend. Established in 1999, Goldfrapp’s debut album was nominated for a Mercury Prize and over their career they produced three number-one US dance singles and received multiple Grammy nominations including Best Electronic/Dance Album. The multi-platinum selling band have won prestigious awards including two Ivor Novellos, ASCAP/PRS, Music Week, MTV Europe and Music Producers Guild award. They were also nominated for two BRITs and a Mercury.
2022 saw Alison release her first solo collaboration ‘Impossible’ with Royksopp and as we enter 2023 new music is promised…the first track to be unveiled being an incredible collaboration with Claptone.
